A mentor is both an advisor and a friend. They have the knowledge and experience of a consultant, but act and are trusted like a true friend.

Everybody has to learn. The Mentee learns to be a Mentee. Mentors also have to learn how to be a mentor, learn how to become a startup mentor, not a consultant, learn to say less, listen more and make yourself an attractive and influential mentor.
