[GEVA] Project Closing Conference: Looking Back at the Green Export Journey

Yesterday, after a persistent 1-year journey, the GEVA project officially organized its Closing Conference in a warm and solemn atmosphere at the conference hall of Fortuna Hotel, Hanoi.

The event was attended by representatives of the management units, including the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Vietnam; experts and partners accompanying the project; along with more than 10 businesses participating in the Green Export Incubation and Acceleration Program, and representatives from the press and media agencies.

The conference was not only an occasion to look back on the journey passed, but also a moment to together recognize the efforts, companionship, and proud results that the project has created throughout its implementation period. During the program, delegates watched the closing summary speech, looking back at the entire journey of the project, from the implemented activities to the outstanding results achieved.

In addition, the shared insights from experts and partners brought many deep perspectives on the journey of accompanying the project, as well as practical observations during the process of working with the businesses. In particular, the speeches from the participating businesses became an emotional highlight, as real stories, positive changes, and the transformation journey for the goal of green export were shared sincerely and inspiringly.

Closing the conference, GEVA did not just summarize a project, but also opened up faith in a Vietnamese business community that is increasingly ready for a greener, more sustainable path and deeper integration into the international market.

About GEVA: The "Green Export Incubation and Acceleration through Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS)" program is a project funded by the Swiss Government, co-managed by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), Ministry of Industry and Trade, and operated by KisStartup JSC during the period of April 2025 – April 2026.

The project aims to improve the green export capacity (through the application of VSS) for Vietnamese businesses through a series of training, consulting, incubation – acceleration activities and international market connections to meet the increasingly strict requirements of the global market.
