Starting from March 16, 2021, KisStartup, in collaboration with GREAT, launched the Digital Business Acceleration Program to support 12 businesses and cooperatives in Lao Cai and Son La. The program includes online workshops on how to establish and manage online business models, listing on platforms, and accessing capital. Alongside the training, there are also one-on-one coaching sessions. The program lasts for 3 months with high pressure to accelerate businesses and cooperatives, helping them see daily and weekly progress in sales and customer growth.
The 12 businesses and cooperatives in the program focus on tourism, ethnic fabric, and local specialties from the Northwest region.
On April 18, 2021, we were excited to present products and specialties from the 12 cooperatives, with the goal of bringing the values and unique products of the Northwest closer to customers and consumers in Hanoi. Besides participating in the exhibition, this event also served as an opportunity for the cooperatives and businesses to raise awareness about Intellectual Property, Personal Finance, and Financial Management in business, enabling them to pursue sustainable business models and protect their businesses from the very beginning. This also provided a chance to explore new creative approaches for impactful change.
At the Networking and Exhibition event with the 12 cooperatives and businesses, KisStartup officially launched the @Northwest Products and Tourism Ambassador Project, with the goal of introducing untold stories about the culture, people, and cuisine of the Northwest, and showcasing the best products made by the people of the Northwest. This project is not for profit or commercial purposes — simply put, we want to share the most beautiful and valuable things of the Northwest with those who have not yet experienced them, and at the same time, contribute to promoting the economy and tourism of the Northwest.
The Networking and Exhibition event for the 12 cooperatives and businesses was a great success, thanks to the active participation of business owners and cooperative representatives, as well as the tireless contribution of the experts who shared and trained.
