On June 3-4, 2020, KisStartup was honored to be trusted by the leadership and staff of Hai Phong University to deliver training as the expert unit responsible for educating students who already have projects or are looking to commercialize research from their labs. Additionally, KisStartup designed a special session with the university’s faculty, aiming to create a pool of lecturers capable of mentoring, supporting, and overseeing student ideas and projects. After the course, the university will establish an Innovation Support Committee for students, which will include coaches, mentors, advisors, and trainers. While the formation and operation of this support system for student groups in specific roles may face some challenges in the initial stages, all participating lecturers have committed to closely following up and practicing under the guidance and supervision of KisStartup over the next three months.
Being part of the KisStartup community means we will commit to sharing relevant opportunities with student project teams and faculty, as well as providing the most effective and timely support. KisStartup hopes this is a small first step for the university toward greater progress in promoting innovation and providing strong support for its students.
